Toja Covers – Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your covers Made?

Our covers are Made in Canada, by us.

What fabric are Toja Covers made from?

All Toja Covers are made using WeatherMAX® 80, a premium, breathable outdoor fabric engineered for long-term durability and performance. It’s designed to handle the elements while helping to prevent mold and mildew buildup.

Are Toja Covers waterproof?

Toja Covers are made from WeatherMAX 80, which is highly water-resistant but not 100% waterproof. They’ll stand up to regular rain and light weather conditions with ease. However, during heavy or prolonged downpours, some moisture may pass through the fabric.

Do I need to re-treat my Toja Cover?

Yes, over time, the fabric’s water-repellent finish may wear down due to exposure, abrasion, or cleaning. If you notice water no longer beading on the surface, it’s time to reapply a water-repellent spray designed for outdoor fabrics.

Will Toja Covers trap moisture?

No. One of the biggest benefits of WeatherMAX 80 is its breathability. Unlike plastic or vinyl covers, Toja Covers allow air to flow through, helping to reduce condensation and prevent mold or mildew buildup underneath.

Can Toja Covers be left on year-round?

Toja Covers are designed for seasonal use and can handle a wide range of weather conditions. For long-term performance, we recommend occasional cleaning and proper storage when not in use.

How do the covers stay in place?

Toja Covers include a shock cord sewn into the hem for a snug, custom fit around your furniture. Additionally, adjustable buckles and straps secure the cover underneath, keeping it in place, even in windy conditions.

How do I clean my Toja Cover?

Simply use a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water to spot clean as needed. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. For tougher stains like mildew, a mix of bleach and detergent can be used, but avoid contact with non-fabric areas or stitching.
